Our Adult / Open Ballet and Tap classes are designed for adults ages 18 and up of all levels of training with a desire to learn and/or maintain their Ballet and Tap techniques. Our staff works with the dancer to help them improve technique, posture, flexibility and strength while getting a fun and nice body workout and experiencing classical ballet and tap.

We added Adult/ Open  Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) to our adult curriculum. Our certified PBT coach will work on the stretching and strengthening foundations of this technique that is increasingly being used among professional ballet companies worldwide.

Dancers may choose to do ballet only, tap only, PBT only or all. Classes can be paid by purchasing a six classes dance card from our website. Dance Cards are $125.00, non-refundable, non-transferable and are valid for six months. Online registration is highly recommended. Classes are ongoing through out the year. Drop-ins are welcome. Drop-in fee is $25.00/class.

Adult / Open Jazz/Contemporary classes will be forthcoming!

Dress Code

For Ballet and PBT Classes, a leotard or tank top and yoga pants are accepted. Clothes should not restrict free movement and must allow the teacher to see the body. Ballet slippers (canvas or leather) are required.

These items may be purchased at Backstage Dancewear and Gifts located in Webster (HWY 3 and Medical Center).

Open Program

The Open Program within the Adult Program serves as an opportunity for dancers seeking ballet maintenance classes year-round. Classes are focused on dancers specifically working to maintain and strengthen their classical ballet technique. This program makes a great fit for our friends in the drill team community, competitive dance and more.

Adult Classes will resume in the Fall Semester - September 2021.
