THE MADRIGALS
Madrigal
noun mad·ri·gal \ˈma-dri-gəl\
Definition:
A madrigal is a brief lyrical composition. Its principal theme is love and emotion. A madrigal was typical of the Italian Renaissance.
We are inspired by this definition to create a program within Feijóo Ballet School's curriculum for our emerging dancers.
The Madrigals perform at several community events throughout the year where they showcase their dancing abilities in several genres such as ballet, tap, jazz and theater dance. Prospective Madrigals are selected by an audition process beginning at the age of 8. Madrigals must be full time registered students at Feijóo Ballet School. Dancers are required to attend Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
