Jillian Evers

Physical Conditioning Teacher

Jillian has trained as a dancer for 17 years at several studios in the greater Houston area.  She is a current company member with Bay Area Houston Ballet Theatre and trains at Feijoo Ballet School.  She was a previous company member at Juxtapose Arts Collective.  

 

Throughout her years of dancing, she has trained in ballet, pointe, contemporary, tap, lyrical, modern, and hip hop.  She attended Oklahoma City Ballet and Orlando Ballet’s summer intensives.  She has also competed at several dance competitions, including YAGP and Universal Ballet Competition (UBC).  She was invited to both of their Finals in New York and Jacksonville, respectively.  

 

In addition to dancing, Jillian also enjoys choreographing.  She was chosen by Regional Dance America as an emerging choreographer.  She has also choreographed for BAHBT and Juxtapose Arts Collective. 

 

When she isn’t dancing, Jillian is auditioning for musical theatre productions around the US.  She has previously played roles such as Elsa (Frozen), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Cinderella (R&H’s Cinderella), Alice (Alice in Wonderland), and Margot (Legally Blonde).  

 

Recently, Jillian received her teachers’ certification in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT).  She is looking forward to teaching this year at Feijoo!
