Ballet and Ballet Fitness

Our Open Program is designed for dancers ages 14 and up of all levels of training with a desire to learn and/or maintain their Classical Ballet technique. Our staff works with the dancer to help them improve technique, posture, flexibility and strength while getting a fun and nice body workout with classical ballet. 

​The Open Program also incorporates a Ballet Fitness class taught by cuban ballerina Dalirys Valladares, ballet teacher at Houston Ballet Academy. Ballet Fitness is a physical conditining class that incorporates ballet movements used by dancers to streghten certain areas of the body.  All in a relaxing environment of wellness  with classical music. All movements are  adequate for all levels.  No previous experience is needed.

The Open Program is a great opportunity for dancers seeking ballet maintenance classes year-round without the daily commitment of our regular ballet program.

This program makes a great fit for our friends in cheer, the drill team community, competitive dance and more.

​A minimum of three participants must sign up and be in attendance for any Open class to take place. All classes are in person.

​Registration closes 30 minutes before each class. 

​Class Cards are available by purchasing a six (6) classes dance card from our website. Dance Cards are $135.00, non-refundable, non-transferable and are valid for six months. 

 

Drop-ins are welcome. Drop-in fee $25.00

OPEN BALLET Classes are on:

Tuesdays 7:00 - 8:00 PM

Fridays 6:30 - 7:30 PM

BALLET FITNESS Classes are on:

Sundays 9:00 - 10:30 AM

Class Attire

For Ballet Classes, a leotard or tank top and yoga pants are accepted. Clothes should not restrict free movement and must allow the teacher to see the body. Ballet slippers (canvas or leather) are required.

 

These items may be purchased at Backstage Dancewear and Gifts located in Webster (HWY 3 and Medical Center).
