Macey Westall
Pilates & Physical Conditioning Teacher
Macey began her dance training with Royal Academy of Fine Arts and then continued her training with Feijoo Ballet School. She was Principal ballet dancer with the company, Bay Area Houston Ballet and Theatre. Macey performed many productions including Dracula, Edward Scissorhands, Coppélia, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, mixed
repertoires and 13 seasons of The Nutcracker. Macey was the 2014-2015 Lynette Mason Gregg Scholarship recipient. She has attended several summer intensives including American Ballet Theatre in Austin, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York City, Hubbard Street Dance in Chicago, Alonzo King LINES Ballet in San Francisco and North West Dance Project in
Portland, Oregon.
After graduating high school, Macey moved to Chicago to dance with the
professional contemporary company, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She trained there for 2 years working with the most outstanding artists and teachers in the professional dance world today. Among them, Alexandra Wells the artistic director of Hubbard Street Dance professional program and Glen Edgerton, past director of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. She performed
many different styles of dance repertoires and worked with world famous choreographers. She also learned many techniques of cross training as a dancer including Pilates, Yoga, Qigong and Image technique. Macey now continues her dance training and as freelance dancer in the Houston area. In the Spring of 2022, Macey performed with the Houston Grand Opera in their
production Romeo and Juliet. She is excited to continue her dancing career with the Opera again in their 2022 Fall production La Traviata.
Macey is currently getting certified in classical Pilates and teaches ballet and contemporary and choreographs for her students in addition to teaching physical conditioning and Pilates in our area.
