The four-week in-person Summer Intensive will focus on classical ballet training, contemporary dance and physical conditioning. Our world renown faculty has designed a comprehensive curriculum for the serious ballet student aspiring to improve their technique, flexibility, projection, musicality and core strength.
In addition to our main curriculum, we offer our dancers the opportunity to explore other genres such as Afro-Cuban, Zumba, and Flamenco.
The Summer Intensive also incorporates seminars on topics such as ballet history, terminology, nutrition, health and wellness, composers and choreographers, history and design of costumes, among other subjects relevant to dance.
The Program is open to dancers ages 9 and up. Dancers can attend one to four weeks of the program. Class size is limited. Students are encouraged to attend as many weeks as possible to obtain the maximum benefits from our faculty. We will have three levels of instruction based on skill-level and age.
Dancers who attend the last 3 weeks of the Summer Intensive will participate in a Summer Intensive Showcase. This performance may be in person or virtual depending on the current circumstances.
Non-Feijóo Ballet School dancers must submit a video audition following the Video Auditions Requirements Form
